Overview

Main Objective:

To create and maintain cloud-based servers for web development projects

 

Who You'll Work With:

You will be based in San Jose, Costa Rica and will work within our Development team. In this role you will collaborate with product and project managers, developers and technical operation firm members.

 

What You'll Do:

You will work in small teams in a highly collaborative way, use the latest technologies, and enjoy seeing the direct impact from your work. In this role you'll be working on both Agile and Waterfall projects to create and maintain custom solutions that help clients increase productivity and make timely decisions. You will design, develop and implement IT cloud-based solutions, systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Setup cloud-based servers
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
  • Deploy upgrades and fixes
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.

Qualifications

Tech Requirements:

· 1+ years of experience in IT, preferably in client-server virtual systems engineering and architecture with a focus on security and high availability

· Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud offerings

· Experience in DevOps, using Jenkins, GitHub

· Experience in Docker

· Hands-on experience with SAAS architectures comprising Linux, containerization, database and distributed computation platforms

· Automation skills are a plus

· Strong security expertise

· Good command of technologies like HTTP, SSL, load balancing, WAFs, SMTP

· Outstanding communication skills in English
