  • Overview

    The CGI Art Leader is responsible for collaboratively creating high quality, photorealistic CGI renderings of Company, Client and third-party products to be used in sales and marketing channels. This position will also assist with environment and image layouts. With an eye for detail and a talent for photorealistic asset creation, the artist works with a variety of 2D and 3D software packages to create photo-realistic images with superior styling, texturing and lighting detail. Day-to-day management, coaching, and support for a group of Art Assistants.



    • Develop interior and exterior architecture for lifestyle, including concept development, art direction, prop and set styling, execution, visual consistency, editing, and delivering a final CGI asset
    • Collaborate with the CGI Art Director and Scene Builders to create compelling images of home products in full lifestyle environments and vignettes, and other marketing initiatives
    • Follow American and Brazillian home décor trends and evaluate competition in order to style home sets and products to meet or exceed industry norms
    • Provide day-to-day management, coaching, and support for a group of Art Assistants
    • Coach and support Art Assistants and Scene Builders in quality and productivity, while demonstrating a knowledge of American and Brazillian styling and trend techniques
    • Review images continuously with the CGI Art Director to ensure trends and client initiatives are featured appropriately
    • Serve as the point person or liaison for certain projects as assigned by the CGI Art Director
    • Assist the CGI Art Director in curating a robust library of CGI prop models in all trends and styles, and establishing processes for creating, acquiring, organizing, and retiring props
    • Independently source and purchase CGI props for assigned projects, while staying within a budget
    • Ensure CGI creative meets client objectives
    • Create and pull resource material for concepts and mood boards to clearly communicate ideas
    • Demonstrate strong time management skills and correct use of resources
    • Continually improve CGI creative and production workflow
    • Stay current on all technology related to 3D and photo-realistic imaging to streamline CGI development
    • Direct lighting and shading to properly represent the photo-realistic quality of renderings; consistently display strong attention to detail and finishes



    • 5+ years experience art directing products for 2D and 3D commercial photo shoots, with significant experience styling home products or environments
    • Retail experience is a plus; agency experience on retail account considered
    • Must have up-to-date portfolio showcasing your creative vision and photographic eye.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Fluent in English
    • Ability to establish priorities, set and maintain deadlines
    • Aptitude for finding creative solutions to complex problems
    • Ability to prioritize numerous and overlapping projects, while working under pressure, to meet all deadlines
    • Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Must inspire creativity, innovative thinking, strong visual concepts and solutions through thoughtful management and clear direction
    • Maintain understanding of current and most up-to-date trends as it relates to each brand’s objectives
    • Excellent internal and external communication, documentation and presentation skills
    • Ability to work with little supervision

    • CGI softwares as 3DsMax and VRay (desirable)
    • Ability to work within and meet tight deadlines under pressure
    • Ability to handle high pressure situations while maintaining professionalism
