  • Overview

    The Director of Talent Experience is responsible for performing HR-related duties with an emphasis on strong experiential interactions in the workplace. Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer, this cultural liaison manages the Talent Experience team in the development and execution of Talent programs, in an effort to ensure that our company vision, mission and values are embedded in the way associates interact and work.


    The Director of Talent Experience carries out a broad scope of responsibilities in functional Human Resources areas including, but not limited to, associate relations, orientation/onboarding, performance management, payroll, benefits, compliance and other various HR related projects.


    • Manage the US talent function, while overseeing a talent team of generalists, payroll admin and benefits admin
    • Partner with regional management to provide HR/Talent Experience solutions by collecting/analyzing information and recommending courses of action
    • Review, investigate and provide council for complex associate relations cases
    • Improve manager and associate performance by identifying and clarifying challenges, coaching & counseling and evaluating/implementing solutions
    • Assist payroll and benefits associates with the administration of payroll, benefits and leave programs
    • Participate in the creation and implementation of training and development programs
    • Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
    • Evangelize powerful commitment to the company’s vision, mission, values and culture


    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience; Industries highly preferred – Media Production, Interactive/Digital Media, Advertising, Marketing.
    • 5+ years of relevant Human Resources/Talent Management experience
    • 2+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role
    • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or other relevant certifications preferred
    • Strong knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment laws and regulations, with specific experience in California labor regulations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
    • Must have over-the-top customer service experience with internal clients, executive management and talent
    • Unblemished employment history of maintaining strict confidentiality and the highest level of integrity & trust
    • Proven ability to manage multiple demands and re-prioritize as needed
    • Strong work ethic with an un-wavering attention to detail
    • Possess a "think-out-of-the-box" attitude
    • Computer skills including ADP Payroll, eVerify, MS office (Word, Excel, Keynote)
    • Proficiency working on a MAC computer platform
    • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, fun, energetic and casual environment
