  • Overview

    We are rolling out our services to a new global client with whom we have been working for some time to produce individual content, now ramping up our activity to fully own production across all parts of their business and in all media channels. This includes B2B and trade marketing communications through to global consumer content advertising campaigns. As production agency of record our involvement will also reach downstream into eCommerce and include the application of technology throughout the creative and production process, through our own tools and 3rd party partners.


    The Account Director is the primary contact between the agency and the client and has the key responsibility for the day to day running of the account across all the departments in the Agency. The Account Director is required to work across multiple lines of an account, developing and executing work which help our clients to meet and exceed their business objectives. The Account Director will lead the account team with a can-do attitude from strategy development through to delivery, meeting the agencies standards and exceeding the Client expectations.


    Terms of employment:

    • Salary will be depending on experience.
    • Standard working hours are 9:00am – 17:30pm, including a one-hour lunch break.
    • Regular place of work will be 23 Englefield Road, London, N1 4JX.
    • Employee is entitled to 25 working days as holiday leave, to be booked in and approved in advance, life Insurance, pension scheme and benefits platform which offers discounts.
    • You will be expected to travel, sometimes at short notice.

      Your core location will be London, but the client head office is in Europe.

    • Ideally available immediately.



    Client Management:

    • Exceptional Client management, with focus on developing Client relationships with the Client team built upon trust and mutual understanding.
    • Assisting Clients with the development of B2B marketing and communication plans and the establishment of long & short-term marketing/business objectives and goals.
    • Day to day responsibility and representation of the Client business within the Agency with accountability for successful implementation of campaigns, on time, on brief and to budget.
    • A deep understanding of the Client’s business and of the key broader factors and trends shaping their markets and categories. Continually enhancing knowledge of the Client’s brand, products and market place and looking for opportunities to engage in broader business dialogue with Clients. Developing a deep awareness of current business news and issues facing their business and industry sector.
    • Rapidly resolving and problem-solving Client and Agency issues if they occur.
    • Identifying, evaluating and monitoring effective marketing opportunities.
    • Regularly seeking out ways to add value to the Client/Agency relationship.



    • Be responsible for the delivery and quality control of the production outputs for the B2B workstreams.
    • Challenge yourself and your team every day to be better and look to deliver work effectively & efficiently.
    • Help drive a sense of pride in the Client for CreativeDrive production capabilities
    • Evaluate and present production ideas as well as effectively manage Client feedback to maintain high level production process.




    • Ultimate responsibility for the smooth running of the account, operationally, creatively and financially.
    • Lead by example and represent all the core values of CreativeDrive.
    • Motivate your account team during difficult times and confront and resolve conflict successfully.
    • Create the best possible environment to produce solutions.
    • Be responsible for ensuring the team have the right time and resources to deliver within the Client’s time frame.
    • Conduct the appraisal process for direct reports and have responsibility for career management and development of individuals who report to you.
    • Create a continuous learning culture within the team to ensure continuous improvement in all team activities.
    • Build relationships with other departments (or network where appropriate) to provide quality Agency product.
    • Ensure day to day co-operation between project team and other lines of the business.


    Your experience and core skills


    • Have strong experience and knowledge of B2B marketing.
    • Be passionate about communications, has strong marketing skills and commercial interest. Desire to push the most creative and innovative solutions – driving the team to deliver challenging work for a challenging client.
    • Have experience of managing a strong team (regional/global).
    • Have deep experience of bringing together and motivating teams across different geographies to work effectively in a lean way.
    • Understand strategic, creative and production processes deeply and have experience of leading these processes in the past.
    • Deep production process knowledge across all media channels.
    • Have strong commercial ability.
    • Know where to find, attract and manage the best talent in our industry and associated industries on order to drive the business forward.
    • Be comfortable operating at senior levels (internally and client-side) with highly developed meeting craft, negotiation and presentation skills.
