  • Overview

    The successful candidate will work as a Senior Accountant to the Accounting Manager as it relates to financial accounting for Creative Drive and its subsidiaries. We are seeking an accountant with technical skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to assist with executing accounting guidance and financial reporting to senior management and other constituents.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for accurate and timely month and year end close activities including, but not limited to detailed review of GL, accruals, prepaid, cost allocations, balance reconciliations etc.
    • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
    • Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations.
    • Daily reconciliation of cash accounts
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
    • Coordinate and resolve various issues with other departments such as AP, AR, Payroll, Operations and FP&A
    • Review all inter-company transactions and coordinate resolution with corresponding parties
    • Assist with development and documentation of business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Own Fixed asset module maintenance
    • Analyze complex financial reports such as balance sheet and P&L monthly.
    • Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
    • Assist with compilation of information for audits and tax
    • Other Ad Hoc as needed

    Qualifications

    • 4 or more years of aggressive hands on experience with month end close
    • BS degree in Accounting. CPA/MBA a plus
    • Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system
    • Intermediate MS Excel skills (lookups,  pivot tables, sumifs…)
    • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
    • Strong attention to detail

    • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve accurate work product
    • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively with other team members
