  • Overview

    This is a newly created position to support the Traffic Manager in the planning, trafficking and use of resource in in the business, shaping the optimal resource delivery model to best meet our international clients’ needs in the delivery of TV, online, print and digital content.

     

    With the guidance of the Traffic Manager You will use technologies and data to inform and ensure that resource is optimally load balanced across both our creative services as well as project management functions. Decisions made will be informed and commercially sound, working alongside finance to ensure resource costs are forecasted and planned.

     

    You will support the Traffic Manager and help accurately schedule and plan projects across the business, ensuring staff are working to their full potential on projects suited to their style of working.

     

    You will be responsible for supporting the Traffic Manager, working with the business unit heads and account management teams to draw out meaningful forecasts of future workloads, to inform future resource requirements.

     

    With the right candidate who will have a lot of responsibility, autonomy and exposure to our account management and project management teams, forming a pivotal supporitng role within our organisation. We demand a very high level of performance, skill and intelligence from our team members.

     

    Terms of employment:

     

    • This role will be expected to split their time working across our two London offices, our London HQ at 23 Englefield Road, London, N1 4JX, and in-house with our client at 12 Bishops Bridge Road W2 6AA.
    • Employee is entitled to 25 working days as holiday leave, to be booked in and approved in advance, life Insurance and benefits platform which offers discounts.

    Responsibilities

    • Scheduling post-production and QC requirments against projects on incoming projects and place bookings on internal systems.
    • Support the Traffic Manager and department heads in load balancing the project managers workloads based on current and future scopes.
    • Reconciling the closing of projects and marking statuses as completeon the bookings system, allowing for amends, or bespoke requests as and when notified.
    • Support the Traffic Manager in identifying and sourcing appropriate resource and location requirements for post-production at the earliest possible stage.
    • Quality control of post-production bookings across multiple offices, ensuring process is adhered to.
    • Aid the Traffic Manger in liaising with Producer teams to outline the requirements and scale of upcoming campaigns.
    • Keep up to date with the latest resource and reporting technologies.

     

    Qualifications

    Sector Experience & Understanding:

     

    We seek a candidate with:

     

    • An excellent understanding of post-production workflows and timings.
    • Excellent and proven planning and forecasting skills, from design, delivery, tracking and completion.
    • An ability manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
    • Strong numeracy and literacy skills with specific ability to use Excel.

    Professional Experience:

     

    • 1-2 years’ experience in traffic co-ordinating within broadcast or advertising industry
    • Good industry references.
