  • Overview

    The Digital Imaging Specialist is responsible for manipulating digital images to produce a high-quality output for web and print.

    Responsibilities

    • Retouch assigned digital images to Sandbox’s and client’s standards
    • Receive and execute on direction from Digital Imaging Services Lead
    • Color correction of on-figure and product imagery
    • Compositing and working with multiple exposures
    • Comply with all work processes and procedures to meet the desired end result
    • Receive and proactively apply feedback from Digital Imaging Services Lead, continually developing retouching skills
    • Proactively assist in problem solving within team and across department
    • Work successfully within a close, collaborative team environment and must exhibit professional conduct consistent with the values of the Company 

    Qualifications

    • Two year college degree; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
    • 2+ years experience in retouching, color correction and all areas of digital imaging production is a plus
    • Expert working knowledge of Photoshop, layers, masks, paths, color correction tools, actions and non destructive workflow
    • Some video editing experience is a plus
    • Solid foundation of color theory and composition
    • Strong knowledge of Macintosh based equipment within a network environment
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact on a professional level
    • Strong teamwork skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of office software such as Word, Excel, FTP
    • Ability to make sound decisions with limited information; ability to work independently in a team environment
    • Ability to respond well to changing priorities, workflows and information
