  • Overview

    The Producer is responsible for acting as the primary liaison between the company and assigned clients as well as estimating, coordinating, supervising, file management and invoicing on all assigned client projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain contact and project integrity for the assigned clients
    • Create detailed schedules and estimates, negotiate rates, specify usage rights
    • Maintain and track accurate project expenses
    • Schedule client projects
    • Supervise pre-production meetings to provide creative direction for photography, styling, props and hair & makeup
    • Develop, organize and maintain shot list, client image folder, track digital images
    • Coordinate post-production services, organize digital files for client delivery
    • Oversee merchandise/product delivery, staging, packing and returns
    • Organize the merchandise into racks to be shot on each set
    • Act as a liaison between the studio and the client, communicating when items are missing or with any questions
    • Attend turn-in meetings to document all styling guidelines and merchant photography requests
    • Hire and supervise team of freelance resources (if applicable to project) and ensure deliverables
    • Conduct model castings, book models based on creative direction
    • Prepare accurate and timely invoices
    • Maintain client contact and relations
    • Handle various administrative tasks such as telephone, correspondence, filing, traffics general requests and faxes
    • Arrange for catering for shootings & meetings
    • Attend to client’s and crew’s needs during production, troubleshoot as needed
    • Fulfill any role necessary for the success of the production, whether as a camera operator, stylist, styling assistant, merchandise coordination, or studio maintenance and upkeep.  Training will be provided
    • Responsible for the management of all assets, from the start of a production, to final post deliverables
    • Manage all data requests as they relate to client projects and final asset deliveries

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years college degree with focus on Communication or related field
    • Minimum 5 years in project management or production
    • Excellent Excel, Photoshop, Google Docs, Smartsheet, and Keynote on Mac platform
    • Experience in the Photography Industry or related field
    • Some experience in both still and fashion high-volume photography production
    • Excellent management and people skills
    • Detail oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects
