  • Overview

    The Creative Director of Copy directs and maintains the standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability of a project, while achieving the clients’ goals.


    • Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs.
    • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
    • Develop and supervise copy for creative campaigns, design projects, branding stories, and internal presentation materials.
    • Supervise and inspire the creative copy team and outside resources.
    • Work closely with the account team, traffic team, and executive teams to develop creative solutions that meet our clients’ or internal needs.
    • Provide quality control over copy for concepts and projects.
    • Lead creative presentations to clients.


    • 5+ years of experience in a creative management position leading multi-channel campaigns with experience in video content and social media channels.
    • Knowledge of current copy trends and experience with long and short copy formats
    • A strong working knowledge of copy for design, brand development, and the creative process.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with Keynote.
    • Strong client presentation skills and client relationship development.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both vocally and in writing.
    • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
    • Experience with big box retailers and/or product companies a plus
