  • Overview

    The Junior Producer is responsible for acting as the primary liaison between the Company and assigned client(s) as well as leading and supporting the Production workflow for assigned clients, under the supervision of the Production Manager and estimating and invoicing of all assigned client projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Produce photography and video shoots in-studio and on location
    • Act as the primary liaison between the studio and the client
    • Develop and maintain contact and project integrity for the assigned clients
    • Create detailed schedules, negotiate rates, specify usage rights
    • Supervise pre-production meetings to provide creative direction for photography,
    • styling, props and hair & makeup
    • Develop, organize and maintain shot list utilizing Company technology
    • Ensure resources are in place to meet targets, coordinating directly with the crew
    • to meet production deadlines
    • Book all freelance talent and models as projects dictate and update the Production Resource Management database to reflect bookings
    • Conduct model castings, book models based on creative direction
    • Generate and distribute call sheets
    • Obtain necessary model release forms and location permits for shoots
    • Maintain and track accurate project expenses
    • Prepare accurate and timely invoices
    • Maintain a continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
    • Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable
    • Ensure that client issues on set are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing management of any problems as they arise
    • Elevating production needs outside of the established workflow/routine to support
    • management for guidance and direction

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years experience with studio photography specifically in Creative Production
    • Marketing or Advertising agency experience a must
    • Prior experience working with a beauty brand is highly preferred
    • Previous experience working in a high volume commercial studio
    • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow including prioritization, planning and task delegation under tight deadlines
    • Proficient in Mac platform, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote and familiar with Photoshop
    • Excellent project management skills, leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven success in building effective business relationships
    • Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, assertiveness, and be results oriented
    • High level of energy and commitment
    • Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently
