  • Overview

    The Digital Imaging Services Manager is responsible for the local Digital Imaging Services Department and its accountability and profitability within day-to-day operations.  This includes overseeing a pool of retouchers, maintaining retouching quality standards, ensuring deliverables are to client specifications and maintaining compliance of Digital Imaging procedures and workflow.



    • Clearly communicate and provide unparalleled customer service to all clients
    • Work effectively with all colleagues, and internal and external partners to achieve company objectives for growth and profitability
    • Work closely with Studio Director to maintain employee morale and job profitability
    • Provide point person leadership within the Digital Imaging Department and its team
    • Provide direct management of Supervisors
    • Oversee the account management with related creative and production departments
    • Ensure clients’ needs and objectives are met
    • Communicate technical retouching specifications and workflow to clients
    • Deadline and workload management of the department
    • Scheduling and management of freelance resources; review bi-weekly invoices
    • Collaborate with Technical Process & Quality Manager to maximize retouching efficiencies and promote internal retouching growth
    • Retouch files


    • Minimum of two year college degree; Bachelor’s degree in related field a plus
    • Minimum of three years in color correction, retouching and all areas of digital imaging production
    • Minimum of four years customer service and/or management experience
    • Expert working knowledge of Photoshop, Layers/Sets, masks, paths, color correction tools, actions, batch processing. Knowledge of color theory
    • Strong working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Bridge
    • Strong knowledge of Macintosh based equipment within a network environment
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact on a professional level
    • Strong teamwork skills
