  • Overview

    The Art Director is a hands-on conceptual thinker, creator, maker and do-er who will be accountable for the successful development and execution of creative for clients. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will work in collaboration with internal teams and creatives to effectively produce exceptional and innovative visual content across various platforms.


    • Creative innovative concepts and design solutions while maintaining client brand guidelines and design standards, producing exceptional work for clients, both creatively as well as effectively, across various mediums
    • Present concepts to creative director, leadership, and clients
    • Develop and execute original concepts for client content (print, packaging, and digital)
    • Design brand books, style guides, and creating photography mood boards
    • Direct graphic design and production teams in the translation of concepts through production
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
    • Attention to detail, organized, balance multiple tasks, eye for color and design,
      good communication
    • Possess a positive attitude when working with colleagues, associates, and clients.
      Be solutions-oriented, and supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges



    • 5 + years of experience working within the creative industry; in-house creative team or agency/production studio setting. 
    • Retail food catalog and lay-out experience preferred
    • Photo Art Direction / Food Category experience highly preferred 
    • BA in Fine Arts in a design-related field
    • Excellent skills in Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote)
    • Experience in design, execution and direction of diverse projects: print, packaging, and digital
    • Must be resourceful, diligent, with attention to detail, and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects both daily and long-term, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and communicate throughout the process
    • Must like to seize opportunity – you are a do-er, you take initiative, are a proactive problem solver and see challenges as part of the creative process
